The AK47 a starting weapon in Rabbit Hole, given to the player when beginning the game as Disc. It's a fast-firing, low-damage weapon, contrasting the slower, higher-damage Pistol. As a starter weapon, it lacks unique or complicated mechanics.

Trivia

• The AK-47, or Avtomat Kalashnikova, 1947 (Kalashnikov Automatic Rifle, model 1947), is named after its founder and the year in which it began operating. Russian Mikhail Kalashnikov (1919-2013) was a sergeant in the 108th Division of Tanks of the 24th Regiment of the Red Army of the URSS, then under the direction of Stalin, during World War II. After witnessing several casualties in the Red Army, especially in the campaigns against the Nazis, Kalashnikov realized that one of the main reasons for the successive losses in combat was due to the lack of a light, automatic assault rifle (precision and shoulder-carrying) that would not jam and could adapt to both arid and humid climates. If the URSS Red Army had such a rifle, Kalashnikov sensed, the Nazis could be defeated more easily.
