Achievements

Achievements are awards a player receives for completing a certain task or challenge. They are critical for unlocking the locked door in the Library. Completing 20 achievements unlocks the first lock, completing 30 achievements unlocks the second lock, and completing 40 achievements unlocks the third lock, fully unlocking the door.
Achievements are assigned an unofficial difficulty rating, where:

★ = Very easy

★★ = Requires a bit of skill / luck

★★★ = Hard, assumes you can beat the game

★★★★ = The greatest challenges the game can offer

	GG EZ	Disrespect a Boss	Teabag a boss by repeatedly pressing crouch.	★
	Bark For Me	Bounce off enemies 10 times consecutively	While playing as Shed, use her jump melee to attack 10 times without touching the ground. This can be done most easily with Lady Stradivarius and the Final Boss.	★★
	Certified M.O.K.O Main	Parry 100 attacks as M.O.K.O.		★★
	Bang.	Eat a cake for the first time	Defeat a boss without taking damage	★★
	Free Water	Drink from a fountain while at full health	this will increase max hp by 1	★
	Face the Music	Defeat Stradivarius without taking damage		★★
	Sharpest Tool in the Shed	Defeat Shed without taking damage		★★
	Yes, You Can Pet the Dog	Pet the dog in hit indie game Rabbit Hole	In the Target Room, pet the dog using the interact button.	★
	Overtime	Defeat Shed as Snail		★★
	Memento Mori	Reach loop 5		★★★★
	Fortune Favors the Bold	Gamble 99 coins		★★★
	Customer Support	Disturb the cafe	When in the cafe, use your weapon, this will cause the Barista to cower, earning you the achievement.	★
	Old Reliables	Beat the game without picking up any weapons	This means you can not replay the Tutorial and pick up the undegraded weapons	★★★
	What Are These For?	Reach 99 coins in one run	Easily done by taking the Dealer's 99 coins deal, the more coins deal, or playing as Shopkeep	★★
	Swing the Bat	Defeat Stradivarius with only melee attacks		★★
	Close Call	Enter and exit the Tank Twins fight at 1 hp		★★
	First Steps	Complete the Tutorial	(why would you need a guide for this???)	★
	The Book Was Better	Unlock all of the books in the Library		★★★★
	Smoking Kills	Get hit by a cigarette	When The Reaper enters the room on successive Loops, just before he erases the room, he throws a cigarette. Getting hit by it gives you the achievement	★★★

	No No, This is the One	Buy 9 guns from the same Vending Machine	Easily done by taking the Dealer's 99 coins deal and spending it on the Vending Machine	★★

• "First Steps" is a reference to a Celeste Song of the same name;
• "Blood is Fuel" is a famous tagline from Ultrakill
• "Nomadic do Gooder" is a line said in the tankman series, game that inspired the Tank Twins;
• "How Did We Get Here" is a reference to the Minecraft achievement of the same name;
• "Bang." is a reference to Chainsaw Man, Chapter 81;
• "Superior Lifeform" is a reference to Shadow, the Hedgehog;
• "Misinput" is a reference to MoistCr1tikal's "IT WAS A MISINPUT" clip;
• A lot of Shed's achievements are inspired by the manga Chainsaw Man. "Hero of the Abyss" is a reference to Chainsaw Man's title "Hero of Hell";
• Other achievements are named after Developers and Test Players' inside jokes.
