Loops

This article contains spoilers regarding the true ending of the game. Discretion is advised.

Loops send the player back to the the beginning after defeating The Corpse of Algea. A loop can be started by going the down the hole to the right in the ending. Every time the player makes another loop, each floor becomes harder.

Loop Effects

Loop Effects are new challenges that are added each time the player completes a loop. Each time the player loops, the health of all enemies increases by their base health. For example, the base hp of a Bo is 50. On loop 1, it has 100 hp. On loop 2, it has 150 hp. And so on and so forth.

1	Enemies will now be more resilient.	Does nothing. Enemies already gain more hp every loop.
2	Your weapons are deteriorating.	Each time you change Floors, your weapon is downgraded
3	Your pockets feel lighter.	Decreases the chances of enemies dropping coins by 50%
4	Enemies will now be more aggressive.	Enemies deal double damage
5	The rabbit hole expands.	Floors are now doubled in size
6+	Death will catch up.	Does nothing. This is a warning.

Catalyst

If the player buys the Halo on Floor 3 in Shopkeep's Shop, they can fight Catalyst in the first room of the Fourth floor on loop 1.

The Reaper appears on loops, chasing the player and erasing rooms behind them. The player dies when the Reaper catches you. Each loop, the Reaper gets faster.

Lore

When the Reaper catches you, it erases you completely, like you never existed. Dr Valora first detected the Reaper with M.O.K.O V5. There he realized that the boy he was tasked to find was erased from history. Shopkeep reveals that Mr. Bones will become like the Reaper, given time.
