Shed is the first unlockable character in the game. A brazen opportunist looking to make profit off of the Rabbit Hole. Although she starts with the second weakest attack power in the game and only one weapon slot, she has the most versatile moveset: A quick dash, an air dash, a 3 hit melee combo, and a jump-slash, thus favoring more aggressive gameplay. She starts with the UZI and can be unlocked by defeating her in her respective boss fight.
Lore
Shed is a shady bussineswoman, a brazen opportunist looking to make profit off of the Rabbit Hole and Head Popping phenomenum. She is described as a woman with short red hair wearing a nice suit and a snazzy new pair of sunnies by Snail.
Shed makes her debut in the lore in Luck of a Salesman 1-2, where she is heavily implied to be the reason Dennis entered the Rabbit Hole. She drags Dennis' body to her house, to avoid medical bills and the law, and tries to make a profitable bussines out of the goop inside his head. In the next book, Shed learns that Dr. Valora was putting M.O.K.O. into the goop that allows entry into the Rabbit Hole. Armed with this new information, Shed takes a rope from her shed and decides to enter the Rabbit Hole herself.
In MIND MERCENARY FOR HIRE, we discover that Shed is making profit by advertising a way to save people that have fallen to the head popping phenomenum. In fact, the book The Contract shows that Dr. Valora, after several failed attempts with the MOKO initiative, contracted Shed's services to search and rescue his daughter, Livia Valora, from the Rabbit Hole. She later contracted Snail, shown in the book Resignation Letter, to work for her in the Rabbit Hole.
