Malones are the melon-shaped enemies found on Floor 1.
Behavior and Tactics
Malones pursue the player. After a while, they spit out seeds in arc shaped patterns to their left and right.
While not too threatening, they can take health if you act careless. It will take away health if you are standing too close to it. The best way to dispatch of them is to melee, dodge, and shoot. If you want to be extra careful, shoot from a distance or, if they are on a platform above you, stay under them and shoot from below.
Trivia
- Despite popular belief, they are actually cantaloupes, not watermelons.
- Their legs are stubby and stupid.
